Welcome to my page! I’m Eden Teshome, I’m a poet. I write poems, prose and short stories about life, spirituality, loss, and healing. Poetry became a huge part of my healing. I realized that through my writing, it brings everything to the light through the pain and struggles of life. Poetry became my relief, my solace, my muse.

I also talk about in depth quotes, most of which are inspirational and are based on truth.

A few stories and poems will originate from East Africa. Some of the poems will be related to the Ethiopian culture, folklore and old traditions, my ancestral heritage. I owe it to them, my love for poetry. I grew up largely in the Southern part of Africa and completed my studies in the United States as a health care professional. My hope it to help those who need it the most.
