Oasis

I found the oasis in my desert

I had been burnt many times

And so we met 

And there I found him 

I was depleted and dry 

And I thought I was close to my end 

But he took the time

To find the reason why 

He filled my cup with water

And there I laid myself to rest 

I became replenished

He quenched my thirst 

And he said dear child

It’s not yet time 

From there I built my oasis

Therein my desert I found 

My strength & my source

My salvation
